एक साथ पहली बार एक किताब में एक पाकिस्तानी और एक हिन्दुस्तानी शायर की ग़ज़लें इस किताब में एक साथ दो ऐसे नामी शायरों, एक पाकिस्तानी शायर और एक हिन्दुस्तानी शायर, के कलाम प्रस्तुत हैं जिनकी शायरी में आधुनिकता की झलक मिलती है। पाकिस्तान के सऊद अशरफ़ उस्मानी की शायरी के बारे में मशहूर शायर अहमद नदीम क़ासमी साहब का कहना है कि ''जब ग़ज़ल विधा से ऊब चुके लोग मुझसे ये कहते हैं कि अब इस विधा में कहने को कुछ नहीं रहा तो मैं उनको मश्वरा देता हूँ कि वो सऊद उस्मानी को पढ़ लें क्योंकि उसने ग़ज़ल के जिस्म में नयी जान फूँकी है। मैं उन्हें बताता हूँ कि सऊद अशरफ़ उस्मानी केवल आधुनिक ग़ज़लकार ही नहीं हैं बल्कि उससे भी आगे की चीज़ हैं।'' वहीं अगर हिन्दुस्तान के रऊफ़ रज़ा की शायरी की बात की जाये तो उनकी शायरी में आधुनिकता परम्परा के साथ दाख़िल होती है। रऊफ़ रज़ा सिर्फ़ नींद की ख़ातिर नहीं सोना चाहते, वो अच्छे ख़्वाबों का चुनाव भी करना चाहते हैं। वो फूलों से बात करते हुए, गुलाबों की काश्त करते हुए उस मक़ाम पर पहुँचते हैं जहाँ शायर, ज़िन्दगी और बन्दगी का रहस्य खुद ही नहीं समझते बल्कि अपनी शायरी के ज़रिए पाठकों को समझाने में भी कामयाब होते हैं। इन दोनों शायरों की ग़ज़लें अभी तक उर्दू में ही है अब पहली बार इनकी ग़ज़लें देवनागरी में

For the first time in a book, Ghazals of a Pakistani and an Indian poet are presented together. This book presents the works of two famous poets, a Pakistani poet and an Indian poet, whose poetry reflects modernity. Regarding the poetry of Saud Ashraf Usmani of Pakistan, the famous poet Ahmed Nadeem Qasmi sahab says that "When people who are bored with the genre of Ghazal tell me that now there is nothing left to say in this genre, then I advise them to read Saud Usmani because he has breathed new life into the body of Ghazal. I tell them that Saud Ashraf Usmani is not only a modern Ghazal writer but is something beyond that." On the other hand, if we talk about the poetry of Rauf Raza of India, then modernity is present in his poetry along with tradition. Rauf Raza does not want to sleep just for the sake of sleep, he also wants to choose good dreams. While talking to flowers and cultivating roses, he reaches a stage where the poet not only understands the secret of life and worship himself but is also successful in explaining it to the readers through his poetry. The ghazals of these two poets are till now in Urdu only, now for the first time their ghazals are in Devnagari.
