(Electronics) from Indian Institute of Science (IIISC), Bangalore. He joined Indian Air Force as a Signal Officer and held various technical appointments during his 21 years of service. He was specially selected by the IAF to pursue Masters of Engineering course in Aerospace Science at IIT Bangalore and did his M Tech in Computer Science at IIT Kanpur. After retirement from the IAF, he established Computer Science departments in various organisations and academic institutions.
